Bregi Virtual Series Presents | Marilyn Zecher: Study Skills & Memory Strategies for Students with Learning Challenges | Online, Zoom

Marilyn Zecher, M.A., CALT, F/OGA

Students with learning challenges such as Language-based LD/ Dyslexia, Attention problems and Executive Function deficits often struggle to internalize content needed for summative assessments, high stakes testing and secondary school or college exams. Today, we are learning more and more about memory and generating effective strategies to support retention and retrieval. In this workshop we will explore multimodal strategies for internalizing concepts and supporting retrieval for a variety of content areas. We will reference the Science of Learning and incorporate creative ways students can work independently or with others to increase memory and performance in stressful situations.
